About The Fix List RVA

The Fix List RVA is a free, independently maintained directory of local repair services in Richmond, Virginia. Our goal is simple: when something breaks, you should be able to find a real local shop that can fix it — without wading through Yelp spam, outdated Google results, or businesses that closed two years ago.

How we research listings

Before a listing appears on this site, we research that:

• The business appears to be currently operating.
• The address and contact information are correct as of our research date.
• The services listed match what the shop actually offers.

We do our best to keep listings accurate, but hours and availability change — always call or check the shop's website before making a trip. If you notice a listing that's out of date, please let us know.

What we list (and what we don't)

The Fix List RVA focuses on locally owned, independent repair shops in the Richmond metro area. We do not list chain stores, big-box repair centers, or mail-in-only national services. We cover repair categories that are genuinely hard to find — the kind of skills that are disappearing and worth preserving.

Who runs this

The Fix List RVA is a small independent project, not affiliated with any business listed here. Listings are free and we don't take payment for placement — the "Featured" label is our own editorial choice based on reputation and quality, not a paid upgrade.
